WHY VT TRAINING?

WBV is simply an alternative & efficient form of weight bearing exercise, just like weight training & push ups, but non weight bearing – key factor.

One of the key elements of WBV is to stimulate the bodys natural defensive mechanisms – Stretch Reflex – which then stimulates the nervous system, resulting in other parts of the body to be stimulated.

The principle of WBV is to cause rapid muscle contraction from the mechanical movement of a vibrating platform via stretch reflex.

We also then need to have sufficient g-force gravitational loading to produce a training effect on the muscle. With these 2 key factors & simple exercise positions on the platform, one will receive the key benefits & results.

Training positions for Overall Toning/Maintenance/Wellness:
Time: 10mins
1) Activate on vibration platform (feet shoulder width, belly button to spine, shoulders back, imagine body weight into feet)
2) Stand knees slightly bent
3) Stationary stand 1min
4) Squat 2min
5) Calf raise 1min (up on to toes)
6) Oblique twist 1min (arms straight up above head, twist to side and hold) 30sec either side
7) Seated – tricep (optional adv dip) tricep dip on base 1min
8) Diamond sit 3-4minutes

10 MINUTES TRAINING PROGRAMME

Activate belly in to spine, Shoulders back, feet wide on plate, chin up & Smile :)

ASSISTING CELLULITE POSITIONS

LOWER BODY TONING:
(Optional)
a) The rolling squat and raise – 3,4 and 5 together – attempt 20 very slow squat movement

BUTT BURNER:
a) Feet in middle of plate, close together – hands on bars – pulsing fast squat, butt as deep as it can go x20.
b) Then place one foot on one side of plate – knee drops before base of vibrotrainer (lunge) push up using butt x20 repeat on other leg – you need to do these all directly after each other – please remember push up with butt – and knee comes down low as you can go on unsupporting leg, finishing before VT base.

TARGETING UPPER BACK AND ABS:
Hands on either side of plate, on knees, push up – chest between hands, head before pillar, and push up, lock out arms and hold, should feel in midsection and back, 18hz plus

TUCK SHOP ARMS:
Tricep dip – Seated in front of base, no need to dip, hands facing forward either side of the plate, lock out arms, belly in,Chest out, straight back.

CELLULITE BUSTERS (byebye dimples)
On alternative days: or daily if you choose to:
10 mins @25-30hz on tummy (back extension position as in chart)
10 mins @23-30hz diamond sit position – sit on plate, legs out
You will recognise a change in skin tone and texture within these areas?
